Port Fairy is a small seaside village located 18 kilometre's from Warrnambool. Today Port Fairy has a population of 2500 and there has not been significant changes in the town for over a century.
Port Fairy's many historic buildings have been well preserved and due to the towns size, are easily seen on foot and part of Port Fairy's appeal is the ability to explore the many craft shops and historic buildings and eating houses in close proximity.
Port Fairy has a sheltered harbour, excellent wharf walk and fishing fleet which keeps the town supplied with fresh seafood daily. The town has retained much of its colonial architecture, providing visitors with a fascinating insight into the history of one of Victoria's earliest ports.
