Located 228 km south east of Adelaide, Keith is recognised as the gateway to the South East and Limestone Coast of South Australia.

Heritage street, which parallels the Dukes Highway, features a travellers rest, a heritage rotunda, a pleasant lawned picnic spot and playground for children.

Historic Buildings include the Old Settlers Cottage (1894) on emu flat road, 1910 church and the Manse national trust museum, both in Heritage street.

A magnificent picturesque 18-hole golf course (all greens) is 5 kms from Keith on Emu Flat Road. The challenging course is gently undulating and situated on a rise overlooking the town. It comprises of 18 bent grass greens with well-covered, watered couch fairways.

Within easy reach from Keith is Mount Monster, a granite outcrop with panoramic views of Keith and just 14 kms south on the Riddoch Highway.

Keith also boasts an impressive water feature created by the Country Arts Trust to represent the wealth of underground water and salt management in the district.

The AMP memorial is an excellent landmark that shows the ‘Wiles Hut’, which was home for families while their properties were being developed. The Landrover on the pole played a major role in opening up the district.
