Points of interest
- Keep in mind the Robe Village Fair, Two full days to indulge in music, the arts, superb food and wine and good old fashioned family fun. Usually held on the last weekend of Novemeber, check out our events page for more details.
- Take in the panoramic views at Beacon Hill lookout. Constructed by a team of community organisations and boasts spectacular views of the coast, lakes, scrub, farmland and township. A one way road leads to the stone lookout tower which is surrounded by Cullen Reserve.
- Visit the exposed ocean beach at West Beach and enjoy the wind swept vista. please note, the beach is steep and unsuitable for swimming because of dangerous rips, Only swim where indicated by signage.
- Clifftop walks from the Seavu Caravan Park to Long Beach follows the cliff and beaches to the Drain L outlet and estuary. Enjoy the scenery from the cliff track as it meanders along the coastline through various vegetation types, from Hoopers Beach to the Outlet.
- Walk to the obelisk at Cape Dombey and see the rugged limestone cliffs and rolling seas, a landmark since 1855.
- Pay tribute to the Chinese gold Diggers at the Cairn and read about their amazing journey through to the Ballarat Goldfields in Victoria.
- Enjoy the freshest seafood and local produces at some fine cafés, restaurants and hotels.
- Browse the art Galleries and craft shops that line the street.
